Electronic health record transition Spring/Summer 2026

In May 2026 Health Services, along with the Health and Wellness Department (Counseling Center & Health Promotion), transitioned to a new elecronic health record (EHR) to better support your care.

Key information about this Transition:
  • The new MyWellness Portal is available. Permanent links will exist at the top of our Health Services website menu as well as as an Okta tile that appears like this:

AT THIS TIME (update May 18, 2026):

  •  Some features are still in-progress (ex: appointment requests).
    • Student-athletes: The requirement submission set-up is still in-progress but we are working to have this up and running soon.  However, you can get started on the paperwork now.
  • Self-scheduled appointments through the MyWellness Portal may be limited but expect more availability in the future.
  • All previous records were securely transferred, however, not all are able to be viewed in the same manner.
  • ‌Please continue to call us (518-580-5550) as needed for appointments, questions, and record requests.
  • Please check back for updates.
Full communication REGARDING TRANSITION:

The following email was sent to all students on 4/13/26:

Dear ůůֱ²¥ students,

‌We are writing to let you know that over the next few weeks, ůůֱ²¥â€™s Health and Wellness Department (Health Services, Counseling Center, and Health Promotion) will transition to a new electronic health record (EHR) system. Your health care records from both Health Services and from the Counseling Center continue to be confidential and separate from all other College records.

‌This upgrade will improve coordination between offices and provide a more streamlined, user-friendly portal for students.

‌What to expect DURING the transition (April 20-May 7 [updated to through May 15])

  • ‌All existing records from both Health Services and from the Counseling Center will be securely transferred to the new system. Those records remain confidential by state and federal law.
  • The current Health Services student health portal (in your Okta account) will NOT be available after 4 p.m. on Friday, April 24.
  • From Monday, April 27 through Thursday, May 7 [updated to through May 15], please call Health Services directly at 518-580-5550 to schedule appointments, speak with a nurse, request records, or receive lab results.
  • Your new Health and Wellness portal will be available in Okta on Friday, May 8.
  • Appointment availability in Health Services will be more limited than usual during this time, based on staff training requirements. We encourage students to make appointments prior to the transition, if possible, so that your health and wellness needs can be addressed before Spring term ends.
  • We ask for your patience and understanding as staff train and adjust to the new system.

What to expect AFTER the transition

  • ‌Improved coordination of services between offices for integrated care.
    • Health Services and Counseling will share one integrated electronic health record.
    • Wellness coaching records (from Health Promotion) will be included in the electronic health record. Health Promotion staff will not have access to records from Health Services or the Counseling Center without student permission.
  • Health and counseling records will remain strictly confidential.
  • Improved user experience including self-check in at both Health Services and the Counseling Center.
  • Fresh new look to electronic communications.

‌We appreciate your patience during this transition and look forward to continuing to support your health and wellness.

‌Wishing everyone a healthy end to your semester.

Sincerely,

Julia Routbort Baskin

‌Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Health, and Wellness
